Notre-Dame Cathedral remains Paris’ most visited tourist attraction. Its impressive architecture, rich history, amazing stained-glass windows, mysterious sculpted creatures attract millions of visitors every year, both adults and children. My tour of Notre-Dame includes a very detailed guided visit of both the exterior and interior of the Cathedral. You will decipher the meaning of its sculptures, you will discover the genius of its architects and engineers and learn fascinating facts about Medieval history.
After visiting the inside of the Cathedral, you will discover its bell towers by skipping the long line at its entrance. From the top of Notre-Dame, you will enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of Paris. Don’t worry about being too tired as several stops can be made on the way to the top. After reaching 46 meters above ground level, enjoy walking the famous Chimera gallery just like the Hunchback of Notre-Dame. There is no doubt that you will take your best pictures of Paris from up here. Then continue to the Southern bell tower to see the Cathedral’s largest bell. Congratulations, you have now reached Paris’ roof!
The tour of Notre-Dame and its Towers is perfectly suitable for adults only or families with kids. However, this visit is not recommended for pregnant women, or people suffering from vertigo or cardiac disease.
