Tour description

Our full 10-hour trip starts from your Paris accommodation. After only 1.5 h drive from Paris, you will be able to admire the Champagne slopes covered with famous vineyards. During the tour, we will visit two main cities in the region: Reims, the historical capital of Champagne, and Epernay which is considered to be the headquarters of the sparkling wine production. The most prestigious Champagne houses such as Mo?t & Chandon, Ruinard, Mumm, Pommery, Veuve Clicquot, Taittinger etc. have established their presence in either Epernay or Reims. Depending on their availability and your preference, a guided group tour will be organized for one of these houses. A typical tour includes 1-hour cellar visit with professional explanation about champagne-making process, followed by Champagne tasting. As your trip is fully customisable, a private tour of Dom P?rignon or another prestigious brand can be organised upon your request.

After lunch (your guide will suggest a few typical French restaurants in the area), we will proceed to our second wine cellar visit with a smaller, family-size local producer for a more personal experience. Our trip also includes a guided tour of the Reims Cathedral where most French Kings were coronated. This impressive 13th century Gothic Cathedral is also famous for its stained-glass windows designed by Marc Chagall. The tour ends in Paris.
