Description
Join me on my guided tour and discover the best of Paris in only a few hours. This Paris walking tour starts at the Ile de la Cité, the historical heart of Paris, where the Notre-Dame Cathedral stands. Fist of all, you will see the Notre-Dame Cathedral from outside and learn its incredible history. After the fire of April 2019, Notre-Dame is now closed for restoration works but we can still admire its beautiful facade, bell towers and famous gargoyles. After seeing Notre-Dame, we cross the river to walk the Medieval streets in the Latin Quarter on the Left Bank of the river Seine, where the Sorbonne University is located.
Once we have returned to our starting point, the ile de la cite, you will learn about the history of the Gothic jewel, the Sainte-Chapelle, and the terrible prison, the Conciergerie, where Queen Marie-Antoinette was emprisoned during the French Revolution. On the Right Bank of the river, you will be able to discover the city’s most famous landmarks such as the Louvre, the Tuileries gardens, the Place de la Concorde, the Champs-Elysees, the Grand and Petit Palais, the Arc de Triumph. The half-day tour can terminate either at the Arc de Triomphe or at the Trocadero panoramic spot from which you will have the best view of the Eiffel Tower.

She was full of historical facts and useful information on the sights we saw, and I particularly liked an impromptu detour to Saint Chapelle (which was not part of the tour) when she saw that the line to Saint Chapelle was short, as well as to the courts. We walked, walked, and walked some more seeing everything we wanted (along with bonus locations) culminating with a spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower! Oxanna was truly amazing. We toured with her on parts of 4 days: 1. 4 hour walking tour of Paris the day we arrived, 2. The Louvre, 3. Musee D’Orsay, and 4. Monets House and Gardens and Versailles. Oxanna has great passion and knowledge on all she introduced us to. The history and education you receive makes what you are seeing and experiencing so much more. We loved every tour with her, so it’s hard to pick a favorite. She was always on time, very professional, knew the best times to visit, had some secret things to show us that most people don’t know about. I visited Paris for the first time with my mother and thirteen year old daughter. We had only a few days to explore so we reserved Oxana’s eight hour walking tour. It was excellent! She took us to more places than we ever could have seen on our own. We learned so much about the beautiful city of Paris thanks to her incredible knowledge. She also gave us many practical tips for enjoying the rest of our visit on our own. I hope to return to Paris someday and would book another tour with Oxana without hesitation. Our entire family enjoyed the two tours we had with Oxana and wished we could have spent more time with her. She is informative, interesting and knows great spots for photos!
We did a 4 hour walking tour the afternoon we arrived in Paris and were so happy we did! It orientated us to the city plus we saw and learned about many of the iconic sites, including Notre Dame, Saint-Chapelle, Place De Concorde, strolled through outside grounds of Louvre and Jardins des Tuileries. Oxana also took us on the Metro so we could easily use it on our own. This tour really set us up well for the rest of our time in Paris!
A couple of days later we met up with her again for a two hour, private Louvre tour. Oxana navigated us right to the most interesting spots and kept my 13-year-old daughter and 10-year-old son engaged, even though they are not keen museum goers. We all learned so much!
We were sad to say goodbye to her, but know we will see Oxana again on our next visit to Paris! Thank you Oxana!

My whole family had the pleasure of having a private tour with Oxana for our short stay in Paris. We spent an entire day touring the important sights of the City. We did this tour straight from the airport so we were very tired and sleepy due to the time difference but Oxana made it fun and educational at the same time. She was very considerate to the need of the group as we have seniors citizens and as young as 6 years old. We were able to cover everything we want to see at the right pacing (except that Louvre employees were on strike and the museum was closed that day). She was very patient waiting for everyone to finish their photo ops as the group loves to take lots of photos =) The walking tour of Montmartre was very interesting. She has a good knowledge of the history of the place. She gave us good recommendations from restaurants to other places to see. Lastly, she was very prompt in responding to my emails which made me feel assured.

Oxana has a great depth of knowledge and handled our group of 5 friends very well. She even added a stop at St. Chapele when one of the group asked for it.
It was our first day and she oriented us to getting around Paris and its districts, some of the culture, some of the history and some of the architecture. It was a great day introducing us to Paris.

We absolutely loved having Oxana as our guide through Paris! She took us to all the major spots we wanted to see in one day, so it was easy for us to decide where we wanted to go back to see more of during our stay. She was unbelievably knowledgeable, answering all our questions and telling us things we would have never thought to ask about. We were a family of 5 with 3 adults and 2 kids. This was our 2nd time in Paris. It was a great decision to get Oxana to give us the walking tour. We covered Paris’s main attractions starting from Notre Dame and Ending at the Sacre Couer. Oxana was passionate in providing us with detailed information about the architecture, history and provided us with a perspective we could not have gotten on our own.
