Description
Although the visit to the Musee d’Orsay focuses on the paintings of the Impressionists, we will cover a large range of artistic styles and movements of the XIX century. This tour will allow you to understand the origins of Impressionism, its development, and the reasons why it was rejected by most of French society and by art critics at the time. As well as simply admiring their lively, luminous paintings, you will also be encouraged to note the individual style of each Impressionist, and will learn about their lives in order to better understand their works.

Oxana was truly outstanding. She was able to provide insights which we would have never been able to gain on our own. Her knowledge of the different periods and respective artists was very impressive. I would highly recommend her for anyone visiting the Musée dOrsay.

Me and my 10 year old daughter have visited Musee D’Orsay with Oxana and had a great experience!
Oxana was very fast to reply, suggest and help to decide. Very organized, punctual and professional.
She was also very sweet and made a tour interesting and entertaining for my daughter.
We had fun and learned a lot and I would definitely recommend Oxsana for guiding you in Paris. We hope to be back soon and see other places in Paris together!
